Paying for a spell up front is something most witch's do already and can take many forms. Depending on how you paid upfront will determine what could possibly be avoided later down the road. Protection from any side effects is also best practice. There is something called cóir in Celtic belief systems that says as long as the curse is justified and in alignment with what is right, there won't necessarily be any backlash. As with anything, you should weigh the benefits and drawbacks.Willowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15833903403803495986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4440943230379430538.post-17356848764374438362023-04-25T02:08:57.969-04:002023-04-25T02:08:57.969-04:00Must ask : you mention the ethics of 3,in a way th...Must ask : you mention the ethics of 3,in a way that one does a curse, for example, and only AFTER THE CURSE,the effect of it will be felt .But what if the person who wants to curse someone already paid (paid up front) for it?Than the person who has cursed someone has nothing to worry, because he or she already felt bad consequences?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4440943230379430538.post-76673236282062492692022-09-21T15:07:00.110-04:002022-09-21T15:07:00.110-04:00This is the sign I needed to hex my friends rapist...This is the sign I needed to hex my friends rapist. Even though I've been practicing for years I don't mind being a novice again relearning what I've forgotten or didn't get right the first time. Those views are not so entrenched in neopaganism that we don't even realize how harmful that sort of mindset is to other occult practices.Willowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15833903403803495986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4440943230379430538.post-11363964425744098832021-06-29T13:09:06.623-04:002021-06-29T13:09:06.623-04:00Thank you! We have tons of books introducing witchcraft and are now getting books on more advanced topics, but no one is really discussing in detail what goes into spells. Hopefully this helps remedy some of that problem.Willowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15833903403803495986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4440943230379430538.post-26836219955516749392021-06-24T12:53:38.869-04:002021-06-24T12:53:38.869-04:00Very interesting article, lots to think about! A lot of what you said is in line with my own take on these important topics, and I greatly appreciate you penning such a thoughtful, nuanced look at the importance both both cursing (et al) and ethics in general as they apply to witchery/spellwork.

Autumn Zenith 🧡 Witchcrafted Life

Witchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.com
